We dropped the "s" to make it easier to remember and more intuitive with our name. Although it is still under construction we have several documentaries up along with some videos of our group. We also have a forum up that we encourage people to sign up on and start helping us research for the site, as well as just sharing information in general.

Rebuilding America’s Senses, a two-day conference aimed at exposing state- sponsored terrorism and its application in staged false-flag operations. John Carona Hearing / Say NO to the Texas Toll Roads Protest

Many of you are already familiar with the TTC, or Trans-Texas Corridor. If not, please take a look here to learn more...

First off Senator John Carona will be having a hearing on this issue:
Thursday, March 1st
8:30am
at the Capital Extension Auditorium E1.004

And then the next day, farm and ranch groups across rural Texas are organizing to parade up Congress Avenue to the Capitol Building Friday, March 2nd.

It begins at Cesar Chavez (1st) and Red River at 1:30pm and should be on the Capital Grounds by 2:30pm.

This will be in response to "policy" advocated by Governor Rick Perry, among others, to implement tolls on already existing roads. This would be the first time in history that already-existing roads would be turned into toll roads! The toll will be part of a larger system of highways called the Trans-Texas Corrior, or TTC, stretching from Mexico to the Northern border of Texas. We MUST make our numbers known to stop this highway! Please PLEASE make it to this protest and be among the livestock, tractors, and angry Texans that commonly seek to stop legislation that is absolutely NOT in the interest of the people!

To complete this project a large scale claim of eminent domain will need to be implemented; making it the largest eminent domain case in United States History...

The TTC is also part of a larger plan for a NAFTA super-highway that will stretch between Mexico and Canada. Without going too into it, this basically opens up the plans for a North American Union: a move to combine Mexico, Canada, and the United States into a EU type situation. Don't believe me? On a related note (no pun intended), I've recently come across a site that deals with this issue from a different angle. www.downhillbattle.org supports p2p file sharing for a number of reasons. Most notably because it really does put a hurt on the major record labels, who have been screwing musicians out of money for years and homogenizing main-stream music to the point that it is, for the most part, pure shit. Being a musician myself I'm quite an advocate of this, and really encourage you to look into this. Personally I don't see p2p file sharing as the exclusive answer, as I'm actually a bit of a vinyl enthusiast myself and really feel that it in itself is a tangible piece of art; needless to say I feel the same about what is inside. But file sharing has certainly spread the word about a lot of acts that you would have never heard of otherwise.

Music is something that people relate with very intimately and this subject serves a very good purpose in showing people what these large companies are going for. And this is just a microcosm of everything else that is going on, obviously...for instance why don't you look at some of the arms manufacturers that some of these major label/media conglomerates are tied to:

This legislation grants unchecked Authority to the Executive Branch to label people as “unlawful enemy combatants” which are defined solely by the executive, and if they see fit, there is no legal barrier that can protect US citizens from bearing this abominable label without the right to question it. That means YOU!

Come help reclaim the Bill of Rights with UT student group the Project for the New American Citizen on Thursday, November 2 from 12 pm to 2 pm on the West Mall of UT campus. We are holding a lecture/workshop type event at Brave New Books this Saturday, Oct. 14th, at 3 pm with Ken Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins is the producer of Dr. David Ray Griffin's work, and is the creator of the "11 Remarkable Facts about 9/11" cards that have been so well received.

He will be covering various speaking points and effective confrontation approaches when speaking to others about 9/11. This could be particularly helpful for those who wish to better engage in debate with others, whether they be mere skeptics, full-out deniers, or fence-sitters.

A speech by William Kristol, former chief of staff for former vice president Dan Quayle and editor of The Weekly Standard magazine, turned hostile Tuesday when students began hurling insults at Kristol, alleging his and the U.S. government's complicity in the Sept. 11 attacks.

"9/11 is your Pearl Harbor," said one student protestor, referring to a pre-Sept. 11 statement released by the Project for a New American Century, a conservative think tank Kristol chairs.

Disrespectful event, coverage

The College Republicans at Texas, the University Democrats and Texans for Israel believe that The Project for the New American Citizen's demonstration as well as The Daily Texan's choice to give such extensive coverage to a fringe conspiracy theory group was disrespectful to the over 3,000 lives lost on Sept. 11 and was entirely reprehensible. The College Republicans at Texas, the University Democrats and Texans for Israel denounce the organization's timing and hope that in the future, the project will show more tact and respect to their fellow Americans.

The three groups also strongly disagree with the organization's evidence. Conspiracy theories have existed throughout American history and these organizations agree that the project's theory will be discredited like its predecessors. The College Republicans at Texas, the University Democrats and Texans for Israel all respect the Project for the New American Citizen's right to protest and demonstrate on our campus, but we ask that they be more cognizant of the emotions of others in the future.

No time for loonies
I have no time for Christopher Reid's ignorant dribble and no patience with his and his group's offensive lunatic fringe conspiracy theories. We all remember where we were on Sept. 11. We all remember seeing the attacks with our own eyes. Numerous investigations have been done detailing the structural failures of the towers. We know people who have lost family members in the attack. We've heard the phone calls to 911 and seen the grieving families.

Yet these sick people come up with these conspiracy theories for reasons I can't comprehend. Maybe they simply hate this nation or our government so much that they'll say or think anything to legitimize that intense hatred. That, or they're simply crazy. A hypothesis that seems to be supported by the - count them - 17 e-mail responses I got from Mr. Reid between 5:09 p.m. and 5:23 p.m. on Tuesday, all daring me to debate him. I refused to give him that satisfaction.

Either way, the Sept. 11 deniers arguments are not just weak, they're stupid. As I was protesting these buffoons on the West Mall, I was treated to many of their arguments, including, "Did you know that no skyscraper has collapsed due to fire before Sept. 11 and none have collapsed due to fire since." Yeah, and Sept. 11 happens to be the only day in my recollection that jetliners loaded with fuel have smashed into one either.

There are numerous studies and Web sites out there refuting the claims. A quick search turned up a few:

Dignity in discourse

I may be late to this discussion, but I feel that there is something missing: In the discourse following the Sept. 11 protests of last week, there was not one relevant comment made. Every one of the letters published in the Firing Line dealt strictly with the format or timing of this event. No one ever thought to make any sort of counter-claim. The facts and data of the debate were completely ignored in preference of focusing strictly on style.

I am reticent to accept that the U.S. government would perpetrate such a heinous act against its citizens, but I am infuriated that public discourse cannot be tolerated or even attempted. Campus groups have asserted that, though the Constitution permits such congregations, their speech ought to be dismissed without even a cursory examination. To treat an opposing viewpoint, which threatens an accepted construction of events, as inherently foolish or lunatic is medieval and harmful to culture as a whole.

We have been given the keys to a society which might bring out the best in humanity. We are faced with an event that has radically upset our view of the world. Yet, we treat both with disregard and never think to honor one another with the dignity and respect we would ask for ourselves.
